Haxtun Hospital District Removes CEO

Members of the Haxtun Hospital District Board of Directors, which now numbers four, voted to terminate Chief Executive Officer Don Burris “with cause.” The unanimous vote occurred during a special meeting held on Friday morning, Feb. 28. The meeting notice listed three executive sessions: one to confer with the District’s attorney to receive legal advice on a specific legal question; a second to determine positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations relating to existing and proposed agreements; and a third to discuss personnel matters related to the CEO performance review.
